Making improvements to your home before putting it on the market is one of the best ways to increase its value and entice buyers into making strong offers.
Originally, this house had only 1 bathroom. Even worse, the only entrace to the only bathroom required guests to walk through the master bedroom! The bathroom was long and narrow. Using RealVitalize®, the clieint was able to split the bathroom into a master bath and a half bath with access via a unique pocket door located under the curved staircase.
The project included removal of the old tub, installing a wall to separate the spaces and the installation of new shower, toilet, sink and vanity in the master bath. The half bath got new countertops, sink & faucet, toilet, and a big suprise!!! While creating an opening for a new door to the hallway, we found a pocket door hidden in the walls. A quick restoration project was all that was necessary to retain this charming historic feature. Both rooms received new paint and flooring. Plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems also required modification to support the project. The client provided fixtures.
